Guard MK3 VoIP Door Station

The Guard MK3 VoIP Door Station is a one-touch, auto dialling, loud-speaker authorised access doorstation. It can be powered via PoE (802.3af Power over Ethernet) or via an external power pack and is a fully stainless steel fron panel making the unit highly vandal resistant and capable of handling harsh environments. At the size of a standard house brick, this door station is designed for easy installation into finished buildings as well as new developments.

Applications

  • Secured door access intercom for business and residential premises.
  • General remote entry intercom (for example to open remote gates) for larger business sites and at remote sites (including via mobile telephone).
  • Generally where additional security is required.


Product Information

  • Manufactured from stainless steel to ensure durability in environments with harsh weather conditions or where there may be a vandalism risk.
  • The included mounting box (size of house brick) allows for flush mounting of the unit.
  • Programming the unit is done via a web browser or an easy to use keypad on the rear of the unit. The keypad means a field technician can easily re-program the unit without the need for a laptop.
  • Automatically dials a set number when the button is pushed.
  • Automatically detects when the call has been terminated and will hangup the unit (using SIP based call progress detection).
  • Includes a DTMF activated relay which can be used as a remote gate / door release.
  • Works with open standards based SIP based call processing systems.


Operation Modes

  • Standard single button unit which will dial a pre-programmed number when the button is pressed. Can be programmed with up to 16 digits.
  • Hotline mode.


Technical Specifications

  • Full support for 802.3af Power over Ethernet reducing the need to externally power the device and reducing the need for additional electrical cabling as data and power can now be run over a single Cat-5 / Cat-6 cable.
  • The option is available to externally power the telephone via a standard Australian 240V power adapter.
  • Uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and has been tested with the open source Asterisk PBX software for integration.
  • Supports multiple codecs, with priority, including g711 (u-Law and a-Law), g729, g726.32, GSM and g723.1.
  • Available with up to 4 buttons. (Additional cost option.)
  • Dimensions (Horizontal Only): 254mm wide x 104mm high x 50mm deep.
