The Liftcom is a one-touch, auto dialling, loud-speaker emergency lift-car telephone with voice recording and playback facilities. It can be powered via PoE (802.3af Power over Ethernet) or via an external power pack and is cased in a very compact and robust enclosure.

Applications

• For use in lift cars as an emergency telephone.
• For use in equipment such as pay stations where a SIP based VoIP telephone is required and the main telephone equipment needs to be located inside the machine instead of on the outside of the machine as would be the case if a standard door station style product were to be used.
• For use in equipment such as help points where it is not possible to use a standard door station form factor or where other equipment is integrated.

Product Information

• Is seamlessly integrated into your existing products to add telephony functions.
• Programming the unit is done via a web browser or an easy to use keypad on the rear of the unit. The keypad means a field technician can easily re-program the unit without the need for a laptop.
• Automatically dials a set number.
• Automatically detects when the call has been terminated and will hangup the unit (using SIP based call progress detection).
• Includes a DTMF activated relay which can be used as a remote gate / door release.
• Manufactured from high quality components and casing plastics to ensure durability.
• Works with open standards based SIP based call processing systems.
• Has a terminal connection for connecting your own buttons to initiate dialling, or if required, you can connect the unit to a relay which can be run by your equipment to trigger automatic dialling.

Operation Modes

• Standard single button unit which will dial a pre-programmed number when the button is pressed. Can be programmed with up to 16 digits.
• Hotline mode.

Technical Specifications

• Full support for 802.3af Power over Ethernet reducing the need to externally power the device and reducing the need for additional electrical cabling as data and power can now be run over a single Cat-5 / Cat-6 cable.
• The option is available to externally power the telephone via a standard Australian 240V power adapter.
• Uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and has been tested with the open source Asterisk PBX software for integration.
• Supports multiple codecs, with priority, including g711 (u-Law and a-Law), g729, g726.32, GSM and g723.1.
• Dimensions: 84mm wide x 168mm high x 38mm deep.
