The Sentry VoIP Door Station is a powerful, all-in-one interactive telephone unit. The Sentry offers security and control at your fingertips. The design is such that you can fit it anywhere you require a loud speakier, hands-free telephone.

It is well suited for homes, hotels, hospitals and universities as well as many business and commercial settings.

Protecting you against unwanted entry onto your property, this unit will give you the ability to authorise access to welcomed visitors without having to leave the comfort of your home or office. The Sentry, making sure your safety and well-being come first!

 



Applications

  • Secured door access intercom for business, residential and multi-tennant premises.
  • For use at places like hospitals, universities and hotels where several different dialling options may be available.
  • Larger commercial premises (including government organisations) will benefit from the increased security the Sentry door station will deliver.


Product Information

  • Manufactured from stainless steel to ensure durability in environments with harsh weather conditions or where there may be a vandalism risk.
  • Designed to be flush mounted into an existing wall / facia .
  • Programming the unit is done via a web browser or an easy to use keypad on the rear of the unit. The keypad means a field technician can easily re-program the unit without the need for a laptop.
  • Automatically dials a set number when the button is pushed.
  • Automatically detects when the call has been terminated and will hangup the unit (using SIP based call progress detection).
  • Includes a DTMF activated relay which can be used as a remote gate / door release. This product can be used with up to 2 relays.
  • Works with open standards based SIP based call processing systems.
  • Upgradeable firmware.


Operation Modes

  • Standard single button unit which will dial a pre-programmed number when the button is pressed. Can be programmed with up to 16 digits.
  • Hotline mode.



Technical Specifications

  • Full support for 802.3af Power over Ethernet reducing the need to externally power the device and reducing the need for additional electrical cabling as data and power can now be run over a single Cat-5 / Cat-6 cable.
  • The option is available to externally power the telephone via a standard Australian 240V power adapter.
  • Uses Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) and has been tested with the open source Asterisk PBX software for integration.
  • Supports system logging (syslog) for events and set intervals.
  • Supports multiple codecs, with priority, including g711 (u-Law and a-Law), g729, g726.32, GSM and g723.1.
  • Available with up to 10 buttons. (Additional cost option.)
  • Available in a model with a keypad instead of direct push buttons. (Additional cost option.)
